Welcome to SaveLives.space ("the Platform"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, and applications. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

2. Description of Service

SaveLives.space is a community-driven platform for reporting, viewing, and receiving alerts about security incidents in Nigeria. The information on the Platform is largely crowdsourced and should be treated with appropriate caution. We do not provide emergency services ourselves.

3. User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree to use the Platform responsibly and ethically. You are strictly prohibited from:

• Submitting False Information: Knowingly submitting false, misleading, or malicious reports is a serious offense. This includes fake SOS alerts. Users found to be submitting false reports will have their accounts immediately and permanently terminated.
• Misusing the SOS Feature: The SOS Panic Button is for life-threatening emergencies only. Misuse of this feature will result in immediate account termination.
• Harassment and Abuse: Engaging in any form of harassment, hate speech, or abuse towards other users or administrators.
• Impersonation: Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Violating Laws: Using the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

4. User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for the content you submit, including incident reports, comments, and media. By submitting content, you grant SaveLives.space a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your content in connection with the service.

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE INFORMATION ON THIS PLATFORM IS CROWDSOURCED AND MAY NOT BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT. YOU AGREE TO USE THE INFORMATION AT YOUR OWN RISK.

SAVELIVES.SPACE, ITS FOUNDER, AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF LIFE, PROPERTY, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS TO, USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM OR ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED ON IT.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
